Smart Storage in Primary Schools

It's fair to say that space can be tight in primary schools, Narrow corridors, awkward pipework and poor layout can make storage a complete nightmare.

We are always being asked to come up with new and innovative solutions for schools all over the country.

We were asked by our customer, Suffolks primary school in London to provide high-quality laminate lockers which would fit under a window sill but also had space to store wet wellington boots.

As there was no standard product on the market that would fulfil this brief, we had to design something bespoke.

Our designers love a challenge and this was no exception.

The final solution consisted of a modular locker with a laminate faced door. This was fitted to a tailored stand which allowed for the storage of boots or shoes.

The base featured perforations to allow any standing water to drain away.

As the locker was to be below a window, we supplied a solid grade laminate top to prevent denting. from bags etc.

Bespoke doesn't have to mean expensive, this project came in below budget with any compromise on quality or finish.
