About This Installation
Lockertek worked with Highgate School to transform and modernise their student locker facilities while increasing storage capacity within the existing space. By combining two locker rooms into one efficient layout, the project delivered more lockers without expanding the footprint. Finished with vibrant locker colours, upgraded lighting, fresh décor, and practical features including sloping tops and integrated seat stands, the installation created a modern, durable, and future-ready storage environment for students.

The Challenge
Highgate School needed to increase student storage capacity without expanding the footprint of their existing locker facilities. The school’s outdated lockers were no longer making the best use of the available space and had begun to impact the overall appearance of the area. Alongside improving functionality, the school wanted to create a brighter, more modern environment that better reflected the quality of the wider campus while ensuring the new installation remained practical and easy to maintain long term.
Our Solution
Working closely with the school, Lockertek helped redesign the layout by combining two locker rooms into one efficient storage area, allowing locker capacity to be significantly increased within the same space. The outdated units were replaced with modern lockers featuring vibrant door colours and durable frames, instantly transforming the look and feel of the environment. To further enhance the area, the project also included refreshed paintwork and upgraded lighting, creating a brighter and more welcoming space for students. Practical additions such as sloping tops for easier cleaning and integrated seat stands ensured the installation remained functional, durable, and future-ready for everyday school use.
