2. Use of This Website
This website is intended for use by schools, academies, colleges, universities and other educational and public sector organisations in the United Kingdom. It is not intended for private residential use.
You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of any third party or restrict or inhibit the use and enjoyment of the website by others.
We reserve the right to withdraw, amend or suspend access to this website at any time without notice.
While we take reasonable steps to ensure the accuracy of information on this website, we do not guarantee that all content is accurate, complete or up to date. Product specifications, prices and availability are subject to change without notice.
3. No Online Purchasing
This website is an enquiry and information website only. You cannot purchase products directly through this website. No online checkout, payment gateway or e-commerce transaction facility is provided.
All orders are placed by telephone or email following a quotation from our sales team. A binding contract between you and Lockertek Ltd is only formed when we issue a written order confirmation to you.
Submitting an enquiry form or requesting a quote through this website does not constitute an order or a binding contract.
4. Quotes and Orders
All quotations provided by us are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. After this period, prices may be subject to change.
An order is only accepted and a contract formed when we issue a written order confirmation. We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion.
You are responsible for ensuring that the details provided in your order — including product specifications, quantities, colours, sizes and delivery address — are correct before confirming. We cannot accept responsibility for errors resulting from incorrect information provided by you.
We supply to schools, colleges, academies, universities and businesses only. We do not supply to residential addresses.
5. Pricing and Payment
All prices quoted are in pounds sterling (GBP) and are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. VAT will be added at the prevailing rate where applicable.
We accept payment by BACS bank transfer, cheque and official purchase order from schools and public sector organisations. Payment terms are 30 days from date of invoice unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue invoices in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
Bulk order discounts may be available — please contact our sales team for details.
6. Delivery
We deliver to school, college, academy and business premises across the United Kingdom. We do not deliver to residential addresses.
Delivery timescales are provided as estimates only. Standard lead times are typically 2–4 weeks from order confirmation, subject to product availability and manufacturing schedules. We will notify you of any significant delays.
Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery. You should inspect all goods on delivery and notify us of any visible damage or shortage within 24 hours of receipt.
Delivery charges, if applicable, will be confirmed at the time of quotation.
We cannot accept liability for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to manufacturing delays, transport disruptions, extreme weather or industrial action.
7. Installation
Where installation is included in your order, our installation team will contact you to arrange a suitable date. Installation is carried out during normal working hours unless otherwise agreed.
You are responsible for ensuring that the installation site is accessible, clear of obstructions and suitable for the works to be carried out. Any costs arising from delays caused by an unsuitable or inaccessible site may be charged to you.
Our installation teams are DBS checked. You agree to provide reasonable supervision and access as required by your school's safeguarding policy.
Installation dates may be rescheduled with reasonable notice. We will endeavour to provide at least 5 working days' notice of any changes.
8. Cancellation and Changes
As our products are made to order and customised to your specification, cancellations or changes may not be possible once manufacturing has commenced.
Cancellation requests must be made in writing (by email) as soon as possible. Where cancellation is accepted before manufacturing has begun, no charge will apply. Where manufacturing has commenced, we reserve the right to charge reasonable cancellation costs to cover materials and work already completed.
Changes to an order (such as colour, size or quantity) may be possible before manufacturing begins. Please contact us as soon as possible if you wish to make changes. Additional charges may apply.
9. Returns and Faulty Goods
As our lockers are manufactured to your specific requirements, we are unable to accept returns of correctly manufactured and undamaged goods.
If goods arrive damaged or are not as specified in your order confirmation, you must notify us within 24 hours of delivery by email with photographic evidence where possible. We will arrange repair, replacement or a suitable remedy at our discretion.
Your statutory rights as a business customer under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 and related legislation are not affected by these terms.
10. Product Guarantee
Our lockers are covered by a 10-year structural guarantee against manufacturing defects*. This guarantee covers the frame, body and door structure under normal conditions of use.
The guarantee does not cover:
- Damage caused by misuse, vandalism, accident or negligence
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage caused by improper installation (where installation was not carried out by us)
- Consumable parts such as keys, combination lock codes or batteries
- Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality
To make a guarantee claim, please contact us with proof of purchase and a description of the defect. We reserve the right to inspect goods before agreeing to repair or replace them.
11. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Subject to the above, our total liability to you in connection with any order or contract shall not exceed the total price paid by you for the goods or services in question.
We shall not be liable for any indirect, special or consequential loss or damage, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of data or loss of goodwill arising out of or in connection with these terms or your use of this website, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such loss.

These Terms and Conditions and any contracts formed between us are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
